Matt & Heather Peterson Matt & Heather and their two children, Sydney, Audrey moved to China to study Mandarin Chinese in 2008. They have been doing language study and getting to know the culture. In 2010 they returned home to South Dakota to have a third child, Caleb.
They returned to China in the fall of 2010 where the whole family is continuing to learn Mandarin.
Matt is continuing to be tutored in the language and is teaching English to 700 children a week. They absolutely love China and plan on spending the rest of their lives there.
